Adding a discount allows you to set a discounted amount or percentage in the product or service details page.
- Note that in case you wish to set a “duration-based” offer, please refer to the tutorial “Adding an Offer on Online Items“.
Step One: Activating Advanced Pricing Options
- From the navigation menu, select “Inventory“.
- Select “Inventory Settings“.
- Click the card “General“.
- Check the checkbox “Advanced Pricing Options“.
- Click “Save“.
Step Two: Adding the Discount
- From the navigation menu, select “Inventory“.
- Select “Products & Services“.
- Add the offer while creating a product or service or editing it
- To add a new product or service, click the button “Add” and select “Product” or “Service” from the drop-down menu.
- Refer to the tutorial “Adding a Product/Service” for more details.
- To edit an already existing product or service, select the product or service in the list by clicking it and click the button “Edit“.
- Refer to the tutorial “Editing a Product/Service” for more details.
- To add a new product or service, click the button “Add” and select “Product” or “Service” from the drop-down menu.
- Select the “Discount Type“; “Amount“; selecting the currency sign, or “Percentage“; selecting the “%” sign, under the section “Pricing Details“.
- Input the discount in “Discount“.
- Click “Save” once done.
Notes:
- Discounts on products or services are visible on the website with the “After” discount Price next to the “Before” Strikethrough Price.
- This discount is not duration-based, hence it remains until you manually edit or remove it.
