Managing POS Devices

Adding a new POS device

  1. Select “POS” from the navigation menu.
  2. Select “POS Settings“.
  3. Click the card “POS Devices“.
  4. Click the button “New Device”.
  5. Input the device details
    • Name: Input the POS device’s name.
    • Store: Select the device’s store using the drop-down menu of warehouses.
      • For more information on adding a warehouse, please refer to the tutorial “Adding a Warehouse“.
    • Image: Click “Choose File” to browse your device and upload an image for the POS shift.
    • : Select a parent POS device in case you wish for the POS currently being created to be a child device.
    • Description: Add a description to the POS device.
  6. Click “Save“.
  • Note that a POS device “Main POS Device” is automatically created by default. 

Editing a POS Device

  1. Select “POS” from the navigation menu.
  2. Select “POS Settings“.
  3. Click the card “POS Devices“.
  4. Click the more options button in the POS device row you wish to edit.
  5. Click “Edit” from the drop-down menu.
  6. Edit as needed.
  7. Click “Save“.

Deleting a POS Device

  1. Select “POS” from the navigation menu.
  2. Select “POS Settings“.
  3. Click the card “POS Devices“.
  4. Click the more options button in the POS device row you wish to delete.
  5. Click “Delete” from the drop-down menu.
  6. Answer the confirmation message with “Yes” to confirm the deletion or “No” to cancel.
