To do inventory stocktaking
- Select “Inventory” from the navigation menu.
- Select “Manage Stocktakings“.
- Click the button “New“.
- Input the stocktaking requirements
- Warehouse: Select the warehouse that you will apply stocktaking to.
- Number: A sequential auto-number of the stocktaking.
- For more information on editing the stocktaking number, please refer to the tutorial “Editing the auto-numbering sequence“.
- Date: Set the date of the stocktaking; set as the current date by default.
- Notes: Add notes on the stocktaking as required.
- Click the button “Do Stocktaking“.
- Input the products to apply stocktaking on using either of the following methods
- Click the button “Add Items” to add an item manually.
- Select Product: Select the product using the drop-down menu by typing the first letter of its name.
- Note that the product you wish to select has to be registered in the selected Warehouse.
- Select Unit: Select the product’s unit.
- Note that this field might not be visible if the product has no unit set initially.
- Physical Count: Input the product’s actual current count.
- System Count: Auto-filled based on the product’s existing quantity registered on the system.
- Note that the system distinguishes and compares the number of products in the warehouse “Physical Count” and the “System Count” and calculates the increase and the decrease automatically.
- Select Product: Select the product using the drop-down menu by typing the first letter of its name.
- Click the button “Import” to import a .CSV file of products.

- Click the button “Add all Products from the Warehouse” to add all the products registered on the selected warehouse automatically.
- Note that all products are automatically added.
- Input each product’s “Physical Count“.
- Click “Remove” in case you wish to remove an item from the stocktaking report.
- Note that all products are automatically added.
- Click the button “Add Items” to add an item manually.
- Click the button “Done” once you have finished adding the required stocktaking products.
- You will view all the Stocktaking details; selected products, physical and system count, and shortage or overage according to comparison.
