Adding an offer on products or services
- Select “Sales” from the navigation menu.
- Click “Sales Settings“.
- Click the card “Offers“.
- Click the button “Add Offer” button.
- Input the offer details
- Name: Input your desired offer name. (e.g. “End of year sale”)
- Valid From: Select the start date the offer will apply from.
- Valid To: Select the end date the offer won’t be applied from.
- Type: Select the offer type from
- Discount on item: Select this option when you wish to apply the offer on a certain item.
- Buy N and get discount on cheapest item: Select this option when you wish to apply the offer on the cheapest item purchased after buying an “N” amount of items.
- Amount needed to apply the discount: *Enabled when you select “Buy N and get discount on cheapest item* Input the desired amount of items to be purchased for the offer to take effect.
- Discount Type: Select from
- Absolute discount: Select this option when you wish to apply an absolute amount of money on a certain item. (e.g. $50)
- Percentage discount: Select this option when you wish to apply a percentage discount to be calculated from the total item price (e.g. 10%)
- Discount Amount: Input the amount whether it is an absolute or discounted amount depending on your previous choice.
- “Active” Checkbox: to be checked in case you wish to activate this offer and unchecked otherwise.
- Input the offer item details. Now you can start specifying the items which the offer will apply on.
- Item Type: Select from
- Category: Select when you wish to apply the offer on all products/ services in a certain category.
- Product: Select when you wish to apply on one or several products/ services (Not necessarily in the same category).
- Items: Choose the items you would like to apply the offer on, simply start typing the first letter of the product or category and click on it from the drop-down menu to select it.
- Item Type: Select from
- Click “Save” once you’re done.
Note:
In order for the offer to take effect when creating an invoice and choosing the items purchased, change the discount option into “Both” from Sales > Sales Settings > General Invoice/ Estimate settings. For more info, please view the tutorial “Invoice/ Estimate Settings“.
Editing an Offer
- Select “Sales” from the navigation menu.
- Click “Sales Settings“.
- Click the card “Offers“.
- Find the offer you wish to edit from the offers list.
- Click the button “Edit” under the column “Actions“.
- Edit as needed.
- Click “Save“.
Deleting an Offer
- Select “Sales” from the navigation menu.
- Click “Sales Settings“.
- Click the card “Offers“.
- Find the offer you wish to delete from the offers list.
- Click the button “Delete” under the column “Actions“.
- Answer the confirmation message with “Yes” to confirm the deletion or “No” to cancel.
