To adjust general inventory settings
- Select “Inventory” from the navigation menu.
- Select “Inventory Settings“.
- Click the card “General“.
- Adjust inventory settings as required
- “Allow Negative Inventory” Checkbox: Check to enable spending from the inventory balance even if the quantities are out of stock in the warehouses.
- “Advanced Pricing Options” Checkbox: Check to enable advanced pricing option including an item’s minimum price, profit margin and discount.

: Check to enable inventory requisitions for sales and purchase invoices to be approved.

- “Track Products using Serial, Lot or Expiry Date” Checkbox: Check to enable tracking products using their Serial Number, Lot Number or Expiry Date.
- Note that enabling this setting cannot be changed once saved.
- “Enable Multiple Units System” Checkbox: It allows us to manage a unit-of-measurement based inventory system, according to defined set templates.

- Default: Select to display the default unit of the product (the base unit defined in the Unit Template).
- Sell: Select to display the selling price unit as set in the product’s file.
- Buy: Select to display the buy price unit as set in the product’s file.

- “Calculate the Stocktaking System Count based on the Stocktaking Date” Checkbox: Check to allow the stocktaking to count the quantities based on the last count registered at the moment of starting the stocktaking (i.e. Sales or Purchase invoices that occur during the stocktaking are disregarded the moment stocktaking starts).
- “Enable Bundles And Composite Items System” Checkbox: Check to enable adding “Bundle and Composite Items” that can include more than one item in one bundle product.
- Select the type of bundle product as required using the drop-down menu
- Pack: Select to allow product composition and adding its stock quantities to the inventory as the system subtracts from its composing items’ stock; the bundle product’s quantities will be stored in the warehouse beforehand until it is spent through sales invoices.
- Compound: Select to allow product composition and spending its composing items at the moment of creating the sales invoices only.
- Select the type of bundle product as required using the drop-down menu
- Click “Save“.
