To activate editing the invoice statuses manually
The system allows you to customize your own invoice statuses to fit your invoicing workflow.
To do that, first, enable the option from “Settings”
- Select “Sales” from the navigation menu.
- Click “Sales Settings”.
- Click the card “General Invoice/Estimate Settings”.
- Check the checkbox “Enable Invoice Manual Statuses”.
- Click “Edit Statuses List“.
- Input your customized statuses as required
- Name: Input the name of the status.
- Color: Select the color for the status.
- Add New Status: Click to display a new line in order to add another status.
- Click “Save”.
- Note that you can also edit and customize the statuses when you display an invoice.
To set or change an invoice customized status
- Select “Sales” from the navigation menu.
- Click “Manage Invoices”.
- Select the required invoice
- Click the button “Select Status“.
- Select the required status using the drop-down of your customized list.
- Add a new status or edit existing as required by clicking “Edit Statuses List for Invoice” from the drop-down menu.
- Click “Save“.
