Customizing Purchase Invoice Layout
- Select “Purchases” from the navigation menu.
- Select “Purchase Invoice Settings“.
- Click the card “Purchase Layouts“.
- Click the button “New Layout“.
- Select an initial template for customization.
- Edit the purchase invoice template as required using the fields and system placeholders and click the button “Save” to save your new edits or “Reset Input” to go back to the default version.
- “Title” or “Header”: to edit the invoice title.
- “Business Info”: to edit your business information on the invoice.
- “Logo” to add your logo on the invoice.
- “Client Info”: to edit your client information on the invoice.
- “Shipping Info”: to add shipping information in the invoice below your client information.
- “Custom Fields”: to create additional field(s) below the invoice number.
- “Change Labels”: to edit labels and change names of invoice different titles.
- “Footer”: to add information to the invoice footer.
- “Item Columns”: to adjust the invoice columns and add or subtract columns.
- “Style”: to adjust the invoice font style and colors.
- Input the “Template Name” as required.
- Check or uncheck the checkboxes as required.
- “Set this layout as default for invoices” Checkbox
- “Don’t Show the currency symbol in the items list” Checkbox
- “Always show “Paid Amount” and “Balance Due” Checkbox
- “Add shipping details (Secondary Address) to the invoice” Checkbox
- Set “Quantity and Unit Price options” using the drop-down menu from:
- Show Unit Price before Quantity
- Show Quantity before Unit Price
- Hide Quantity and Unit Price
- Click “Save”.
