Prerequisites
- Activation of the “Unit System” is required.
- For more information, please refer to the tutorial “Activating Units Templates“.
- Create unit template(s) according to your products’ type in order to be able to select in the product’s file.
- For more information, please refer to the tutorial “Managing Unit Templates“.
To register a product's unit of measurement and pricing details
- Select “Inventory” from the navigation menu.
- Select “Products and Services“.
- Add a new product with the unit system or edit an existing one following the tutorial “Adding a Product” or “Editing a Product” as required.
- Select the “Unit Template” under “Item Details” using the drop-down menu.
- For more information on adding unit templates, please refer to the tutorial “Managing Unit Templates“.
- Input the product’s “Pricing Details” in units
- Purchase Price: Input the purchase/ buy price and select the purchase unit of measurement using the drop-down menu.
- Selling Price: Input the selling/ retail price and select the selling unit of measurement using the drop-down menu.
- Proceed with the product’s data entry.
- Click “Save” to save the the new product or “Update” to save your edits accordingly.
