Prerequisites
- Make sure that the “SMS” app is enabled in “Global” from “Apps Manager“.
- For more information, please refer to the tutorial “Managing Apps“.
- Make sure that your account is linked to one of the SMS providers’ integrations.
- For more information, please refer to the tutorial “SMS Settings “.
To create an SMS template
- Select “Templates” from the navigation menu.
- Click “SMS Templates”.
- Click the button “New SMS Template”.
- Input the template details
- Type: Select the type of the SMS category using the drop-down menu.
- Title: Input the title of the SMS template.
- Body: Input the body of the SMS.
- Use the drop-down “Placeholders” to call fields into the Title or SMS Body as needed.
- Click “Save”.
To send an SMS through an invoice
- Select “Sales” from the navigation menu.
- Click “Manage Invoices”.
- Select the invoice you wish to send an SMS from.
- Click the button “Send SMS”.
- Note that this button may not be visible if there are no SMS Invoice templates created.
- Input the SMS details
- Template: Select from pre-created SMS templates using the drop-down menu.
- For more information on creating templates, please refer to the previous section.
- To: Input the client’s number including the country code.
- Note that the number is auto-filled in case it was saved in the client’s profile.
- For more information, please refer to the tutorial “Adding a Client” or “Editing a Client’s profile” as needed.

- Body: Input the SMS content or make edits to the existing selected template.
- Use the drop-down “Placeholders” to call fields into the SMS Body as needed.
- Template: Select from pre-created SMS templates using the drop-down menu.
- Click “Send“.
