To validate cash after closing a selling session.
- Select “POS” from the navigation menu.
- Click “POS Sessions“.
- Click the bottom arrow at the end of the row of the closed session you wish to validate.
- In case the session is “Open“, please refer to the tutorial “Closing a Selling Session” to close and validate it.
- Click “Validate” from the drop-down menu.
- The system views a summary of the session.
- Click the button “Confirm“.
- Validate Cash using the pop-up window.
- Counted: Input the session’s manually counted cash.
- The system compares the “Expected” amount to the “Counted” amount and displays the difference.
- Delivered to: Set who the next POS session/device will be handed to.
- To: Select “Staff” in case it will be delivered to one of the staff members or “Treasury” in case it is the last use of the session using the drop-down menu.
- Note that the following field changes according to your choice between Staff or Treasury.
- In case of selection of “Staff“.
- Select the “Staff” member using the drop-down menu of added employees/users on the system.
- In case of selection of “Treasury“.
- Select the “Treasury” using the drop-down menu of added treasuries on the system.
- In case of selection of “Staff“.
- Note that the following field changes according to your choice between Staff or Treasury.
- To: Select “Staff” in case it will be delivered to one of the staff members or “Treasury” in case it is the last use of the session using the drop-down menu.
- Counted: Input the session’s manually counted cash.
- Click the button “Confirm“.
To invalidate a validated Selling Session
- Select “POS” from the navigation menu.
- Click “POS Sessions“.
- Click the bottom arrow at the end of the row of the closed session you wish to invalidate.
- Click “View” from the drop-down menu.
- The system views a summary of the session.
- Click the button “Invalidate Session“.
