About Blocked Pages
“Blocked Pages” in a role allows you to block access to a certain page within an allowed action using the page’s URL.
- For instance, you wish to grant the role “Staff” access to “View Clients” but you also would like to not give access to a certain page inside “View Clients”, such as, viewing the “Transactions List” of the clients.
- To block this page but still grant access to the action “View Clients”, simply copy the URL of the page you wish to block in the section “Blocked Pages” in a role.
- Here’s an example of the URL to be copied in Blocked Pages: “owner/clients/view/1#TransactionList”
- Doing that, employees assigned the role “Staff” will be able to view clients, but won’t be able to access the client’s transactions list.
