Why can’t I delete a client category?
A client category cannot be deleted in two cases:
- If it is linked to at least one client.
- If it has at least one sub-category under it.
In these cases, the following error message appears when attempting to delete it:
“This category cannot be deleted because it has clients or sub-categories assigned to it. Reassign them first.”
To delete the category, you must first reassign the linked clients to another category or remove/move the sub-categories under it.
