About Purchase Requests
Purchase Requests are stock replenishment requests you make to your organization with the out-of-stock items and the amounts needed.
They are subject to approval or disapproval by authorized staff and once they are approved, they can be converted to a Price “Quotation Request“ to the supplier and move along the Purchase Cycle.
Creating a Purchase Request
- Select “Purchases” from the navigation menu.
- Select “Purchase Requests“.
- Click the button “Add Purchase Request“.
- Input the Purchase Request Details
- Input the request’s “General Information“
- Title: Input the Purchase Request’s name.
- Code: A sequential auto-generated Purchase Request code.
- Request Date: Input the Purchase Request date; set as the current date by default.
- Required By: Input the date you should expect the requested items to be stocked.
- Click the “Required By” text field.
- Select the required date using the calendar.
- Click “Apply“.
- Input the “Purchase Request Items“
- Item: Select the item you wish to restock from existing inventory using the drop-down menu.
- Quantity: Specify the quantity you wish to request restocking.
- “+Add“: Click the button “Add” to add another row of Item and Quantity.
- Input “More Details” as required
- Notes: Include Purchase Request notes as required.
- Attachment: Add attachments as required using “Drag and Drop” or Click to browse your device for the attachment and upload it.
- Input the request’s “General Information“
- Click “Save“.
