Choosing Which Account to Log In to When You Belong to More Than One Account

If your email is linked to more than one account in the system (such as an owner of several businesses, or an accountant working on several companies’ accounts), a list of accounts appears after you enter your email on the login page, so you can choose the account you want to log in to.

Steps to choose the account

  1. Open the system’s login page, enter your Email Address, then click Continue.
  2. A list of the accounts linked to your email appears, with each account’s business name and logo.
  3. Click the account you want; you move to its login page with your email already filled in.
  4. Enter the Password for this account, and log in.

Accounts that appear in the list

  • Accounts where your email is the account owner’s email.
  • Accounts where you’re an employee with the same email, your status is Active, and access to the system is enabled for you.
Order Description
Most recently used first The account you logged in to most recently appears at the top of the list.
Then by name Accounts you haven’t logged in to yet appear at the end of the list, sorted by business name.

An account doesn’t appear in the list if:

  • The account is registered with a different email.
  • Your status in the account is Inactive.
  • Your access to the system was disabled in this account.
  • The account is archived or deleted.

Switching between accounts after logging in

After you log in to more than one account from the same browser, you can switch between them from the user menu at the top of the page using Switch Accounts, without logging in again.

FAQs

An account I don’t want appears in the list. How do I remove it?

If you’re an employee in it, the account administrator can disable your access to the system or change your status to Inactive from Employees; the account then disappears from the list.

Is the password the same for all accounts?

No. Each account has its own password, even if the email is the same.
