Item Sales Report by Client
Steps to View the Report
- Click on the “Reports” menu.
- Click on “Sales Reports.”
- From the “Sales Reports” page, select “Item Sales by Client.”
- Before viewing the report, you can apply several filters:
- Category: Filter results by item category.
- If no category is selected, all categories will be included in the report.
- Invoice Type: Filter results by document type. Available types are: Invoice, Returned Invoice, Debit Note, Credit Note.
- If no type is selected, all document types will be included in the report.
- Invoice Status: Filter results by invoice status.
- If no status is selected, all statuses will be included in the report.
- Category: Filter results by item category.
- If no category is selected, all categories will be included in the report.
- Warehouse: Filter results to include items from a specific warehouse only.
- If no warehouse is selected, all warehouses will be included.
- Show Draft Items: Enable this option to include items from draft invoices in the report.
- Brand: Filter results by item brand. You can search by brand name.
- If no brand is selected, all brands will be included in the report.
- Client: Filter results to include sales for a specific client only. You can search by name, email, or phone.
- If no client is selected, all clients will be included in the report.
- Client Category: Filter results by client category.
- If no category is selected, all categories will be included in the report.
- Employee: Select one or more employees to display items related to invoices they created. You can search by name, code, email, department, branch, or country.
- If no employee is selected, all employees will be included in the report.
- Date Range: Select the period for which you want to analyze sales. Options include:
- Last Week: Past 7 days.
- Last Month: Past 30 days.
- From Start of Month: From the first day of the current month to today.
- Last Year: Past 12 months.
- From Start of Year: From the first day of the current year to today.
- Custom: Manually select start and end dates in the adjacent fields.
- Currency: Choose the currency in which to display results. Options:
- All (in SAR): Display all sales converted to Saudi Riyals.
- All (by Original Currency): Display sales grouped by each invoice’s original currency.
- Order Source: Filter results by the platform or channel from which the orders originated.
- If no source is selected, all sources will be included in the report.
- Branch: Select one or more branches to display their sales only.
- If no branch is selected, all branches will be included in the report.
- Category: Filter results by item category.
- After adjusting the filters, click “View Report” to update the results.
- You can change the report grouping by clicking the grouping button above the table. Available grouping options include: daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, item, category, client, brand, employee, or sales manager.
- You can switch between “Summary” view to show totals for each item only, or “Details” view to show each invoice separately.
- You can hide specific columns by clicking “Settings,” selecting the columns to hide, and then clicking “Save Settings.”
- You can print the report via “Print” or export it from “Export Options” to:
- CSV
- Excel
- PDF (without chart)
Report Columns
The table displays item sales data grouped according to the selected grouping method (item, category, client, etc.). If “Details” view is selected, each invoice appears separately within each group. Columns include:
- ID: Unique identifier of the item in the system.
- Name: Name of the item or product as registered in the system.
- Description: Short description of the item, if entered in the system.
- Product Code: Identifier code of the item used in the system.
- Date: Date of the invoice associated with the item.
- Employee: Name and system ID of the employee who created the invoice.
- Invoice: Invoice or document number (Invoice, Returned Invoice, Debit Note, Credit Note) with a direct link to view details.
- Client: Name of the client associated with the invoice, with a link to their profile.
- Unit Price: Price at which a single unit of the item was sold to the client.
- Quantity: Number of units sold or returned. Negative values appear in a highlighted color for returned invoices or losses, and a different color for profit.
- Discount: Discount applied to the item. Negative values appear for returned invoices.
- Taxes: Tax amount applied to the item. Negative values appear for returned invoices.
- Total: Net value of the item after applying discounts and taxes. Negative values appear in a highlighted color for losses or returned invoices.
At the bottom of each client group, a subtotal row appears summing total quantities, discounts, taxes, and totals for that client. At the bottom of the table, a grand total row summarizes data for all clients over the selected period.
