Request Types Custom Fields
The system enables you to add custom fields to various types of requests, offering you greater flexibility in capturing the specific information that aligns with your business needs.
- From the main menu, click on “Requests.”
- Click on “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
- Select the request type you want to add custom fields to.
- Click on “Custom Fields.”
A list of available field types to add will appear; all you need to do is drag and drop and adjust the properties.
5. A floating screen for “Field Settings” will appear, including:
- Properties: Set the basic settings for the field such as field label, instructions, initial value, placeholder, and more.
- Validation: Select the required options for the added field, such as required, make unique, filter using the field, and list using the field, as needed.
- Layout: Specify the field size, the option to display the field in a single line, and the option to hide the field, as needed.
6. Click the “Save” button to save the entered or selected settings.
7. Click the “X” symbol to remove the field.
8. Click the “Gear Icon” to edit the field.
Drag the field up or down to switch its position with other fields.
9. Click the “Save” button to save all the added fields.
