Viewing and Searching the Indirect Costs List

This screen allows the manufacturing user to view all indirect cost records in one place, with the ability to search, filter, and sort, to easily track and manage costs.

Before You Begin

  • You must have the “View All Manufacturing Orders” permission to view all records, or the “View His Own Manufacturing Orders” permission to view only your own records and the indirect costs related to manufacturing orders assigned to you.

Steps to View the Indirect Costs List

  1. From the sidebar menu, click on “Manufacturing,” then go to “Indirect Costs.”
  2. All added indirect cost records will appear on the screen.

Actions on the List

  • Add a new indirect cost:
    • From the top of the screen, click the “Add Manufacturing Orders Indirect Costs” button. 
  • Navigating Between Pages:
    • Navigation tools appear at the top of the list (current page number out of total pages, and the number of results), with arrows to navigate between the previous and next page when there is more than one page of results.

Search and Filtering

A “Search & Filters” section appears at the top of the list, with a “Hide” option to hide the filter area when not needed.

The following filters are available, and more than one filter can be used at the same time:

  • Filter by Account: a dropdown list.
  • Filter by Main Product – Manufacturing Order: a searchable dropdown list by product name or manufacturing order, with autocomplete suggestions as you type.
  • Filter by Manufacturing Order: a searchable dropdown list by name or code, with autocomplete suggestions as you type.
  • Date From / Date To: two date fields to specify a time range for the search.

After specifying the search criteria, click “Search” to apply the filters to the list. Click “Clear All” to clear all search criteria and return to the full view without any filter.

Indirect Costs List Display

The screen displays all records in a table that includes the following two columns:

  • Account Name and Code.
  • Total Cost.

The list can be sorted by Date of Creation, by clicking “Sort.”

Actions on each record:

  • View: view the indirect cost’s details.
  • Edit: edit the indirect cost’s details.
  • Delete: delete the indirect cost’s details.

Validation Rules

  • If no indirect cost records exist in the system at all, the screen displays empty with the message: “No records added yet,” along with an “Add Manufacturing Orders Indirect Costs” button.
  • If no record matches the specified search or filter criteria, the message “No results found. There are no records matching your search criteria” appears, along with the following buttons: “Reset Filters”, “Go to Previous Page”, and “Add Manufacturing Orders Indirect Costs”.
