Why doesn’t the “Scale Barcode Scan Behavior” option appear in the settings?

The reason is that the “Enable Weight-Embedded Barcode” option is not activated in your account. The “Scale Barcode Scan Behavior” field only appears when the Enable Weight-Embedded Barcode option is turned on — if it is disabled, this field is automatically hidden.

To enable it, go to “Inventory”, then “Inventory & Product Settings”, then “Barcode Settings”, and enable the “Enable Weight-Embedded Barcode” option, the Scale Barcode Scan Behavior field will then appear immediately.
