Why Can’t I Delete a Settlement Type?

A settlement type cannot be deleted if it is being used in recorded settlement entries. In this case the system prevents deletion to protect the data linked to it. If you no longer need to use it, you can change its status to Inactive so that it no longer appears in selection lists.
