Why Did the Custody Status Return to “Open” After Deleting a Settlement?

If the deleted settlement was the reason the custody status changed to “Settled,” the system automatically recalculates the remaining balance. Since the balance became greater than zero after the deletion, the custody status automatically reverts back to “Open.”
