What should I do if I cancelled the M-PESA payment request or it timed out?

Both situations are recoverable. If you cancelled the request on your phone or it timed out without a response, an error message appears on the payment screen along with a “Try Again” button — click it to return to the phone number entry step and restart the payment process. No charge is applied to your M-PESA account in either case.
