Storage Locations — Add New Location

This screen allows you to create a new internal storage location that can be selected in Employee Assets screens when Used By = Storage.

How to Access

From the Employees Module:

Go to Settings.
Click on Storage.
From the list, click Add Storage.

From the Accounting Module:

Go to Accounting Settings.
Click on Storage.
From the list, click Add Storage.

Steps to Add a Storage Location

Click on Add Storage from the list.
Enter the Storage Name — Required and must be unique.
Enter the Description — Optional.
Check the Status — it is enabled by default.
Click Save to create the record.
To cancel without saving, click Cancel to return to the list.

Notes

The Storage Name field is mandatory and cannot be duplicated.
Only active storage locations appear in Employee Assets screens when selecting the storage option.
