Delete Asset Location

Physical Locations — Delete Location

This action allows you to remove physical locations that are no longer used or relevant.

Steps to Delete a Location

From the Employees Module:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Physical Locations.
• Click Delete directly from the list, or open the location first, then click Delete from the view screen.

From the Accounting Module:

• Go to Accounting Settings.
• Click on Physical Locations.
• Click Delete directly from the list, or open the location first, then click Delete from the view screen.

Deletion Confirmation

• Click Delete — a confirmation window will appear.
• Click Confirm to complete the deletion.
• After deletion, the system will automatically return to the list.

Deletion Rules

• A physical location cannot be deleted if it is linked to one or more assets.
• In such cases, the system will display an error message and prevent deletion.
• Once deleted, the location is immediately removed from the list and all selection menus across the system.
