Hiding the Accounting Settings Screen from Employees

If you want to prevent certain employees from accessing the Accounting Settings screen in the system, you can easily do so by adding a specific URL to the Blocked Pages section of the employee role. After completing the steps below, the Accounting Settings screen will be hidden while other settings, such as Sales and Inventory settings, remain accessible.

Steps to Hide the Accounting Settings Screen

  1. Go to “Manage Employee Roles” from the “Employees” dropdown menu.
  2. Open the “Blocked Pages” section within the role settings for the employee you want to restrict.
  3. Add the required URL to the blocked pages (Owner/Settings), then click “Submit” to save the changes.
  4. Log in using the employee account assigned to this role.
  5. You will notice that the “Accounting Settings” screen is no longer visible in the system.
