Why did sending login details fail for some employees?
When you send login details to a group of employees from Manage Employees → Actions → Send Login Details, a result page appears showing the number of Successful and Failed sends, with the failure reason next to each employee the details couldn’t be sent to.
Sending fails for an employee who doesn’t have access to the system, and this reason appears next to them: This employee does not have access to log in to the system.
How do you fix it?
- Open the employee’s page from Manage Employees, then click Edit.
- Turn on Allow Access to The System, then enter the Email Address, since it becomes required when this option is on. If the Employee Mode is User, select the Role and Accessible Branches. Then click Save.
- Send the login details to this employee again from Actions → Send Login Details in the employee list, or from the Send Login Details button on the employee’s page.
🛈
Notes:
- The system creates a new password for each selected employee and sends it to their email, and their current sessions end. So select only the employees you want to send new login details to.
- Don’t refresh the progress page while sending, because this runs the whole process again.
- When you turn off system access for an employee whose Employee Mode is User, the system removes their role and accessible branches, so you need to select them again when you turn access back on.
