Set Up and Customize Lease Contract Statuses

The system allows you to configure custom statuses for lease contracts to use in organization and follow-up, with the ability to set the default status automatically assigned to each new contract.

Steps to Set Up Lease Contract Statuses

  • From the main menu, click on “Rental and Unit Management“.
  • Click on “Settings“.
  • Click on the “Lease Contract Statuses” card.
  • Configure the required settings.
  • Click “Save” to apply the changes, or click “Cancel” to go back without saving.

Available Settings

  • Default Lease Contract Status: select the status automatically assigned to each new lease contract upon creation. (Mandatory)
  • Overridable Reservation Statuses: select the statuses that allow creating a new contract for the same unit at the same time without conflicts or errors. (Mandatory)

Managing the Statuses List

The table displays all statuses added in the system. For each status you can configure the following:

  • Name: enter the status name.
  • Type: set the status type to either “Open” or “Closed“.
  • Color: choose a distinct color to visually distinguish the status.

To add a new status click the “Add” button at the bottom of the table.

To delete a status click the trash icon next to it.

Important Notes

  • Open type statuses indicate that the contract is still active or ongoing.
  • Closed type statuses indicate that the contract has been completed or cancelled.
  • Overridable Reservation Statuses: define when overlapping contracts for the same unit are permitted in the system without triggering errors.
