Set Up Custom Fields for Lease Contracts
The system allows you to add custom fields to lease contracts that suit the nature of your business, enabling you to collect additional data when creating, editing, and viewing contracts.
Steps to Set Up Custom Fields for Lease Contracts
- From the main menu, click on “Rental and Unit Management“.
- Click on “Settings“.
- Click on the “Lease Contract Custom Fields” card.
- Drag and drop the desired fields from the sidebar into the form area.
- Configure each field’s properties using the settings panel on the right side.
- Click “Save“.
Available Field Types
You can add the following fields to the lease contract form: Single Line Field, Multi-Lines Field, URL Field, Email Field, Phone Number, Date, Time, Currency, Number, Toggle, Map Location, File, Image, Multiple Sub-Forms, Separator, Dropdown, Multiple Dropdown, Dynamic Dropdown, Multiple Dynamic Dropdown, Static Content, and Formatted Text.
Where Custom Fields Appear
Custom fields appear in the add and edit lease contract forms, in the lease contracts list and filter options, in the lease contract details view page, and in new printable templates linked to lease contracts.
How the System Works on Save
- Custom fields appear immediately across all lease contract forms after saving.
- The system automatically redirects to the settings cards page with a success message displayed.
Important Notes
- Fields can be reordered by dragging and dropping them within the form area.
- This page is designed for desktop use and does not function optimally on mobile devices.
