Delete Lease Contract
The system allows you to delete a lease contract from the system when it is no longer needed, subject to restrictions based on installment payment status.
Required Permission: Manage Lease Contracts
Steps to Delete a Lease Contract
- From the main menu, click on “Rental and Unit Management“.
- Click on “Lease Contracts“.
- Open the contract you want to delete.
- Click the “Delete” button.
- A confirmation message appears. Click “Yes” to confirm the deletion, or click “No” to cancel.
Deletion Rules
- A lease contract cannot be deleted if it contains one or more installments with a status of “Paid” or “Partially Paid“.
How the System Works on Deletion
- All unpaid installments linked to the contract are automatically cancelled upon deletion.
- The status of the unit linked to the contract updates after deletion to reflect the absence of an active contract.
- The deletion is recorded in the general activity log.
Important Notes
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
