How to route the suppliers accounts?
- Click on “Finance” from the main dashboard.
- Click on “Accounting Settings”.
- Click on “Purchases Accounts Routing”.
- Choose the routing type for the suppliers as below:
- Automatic Account Routing: It makes the system create an account for the supplier automatically in its specialized place “Charts of Accounts”.
- Specify: It makes the system to select the sub-account manually inside the supplier’s file. <Note: to direct any transactions to the sub-account instead of the random account for the supplier, please review the “Add Supplier” tutorial>
- Click on “Save Settings”.
Note: In the case of the automatic routing, you can select the account that has the suppliers’ accounts routed to automatically and you can change it.
How to route the purchases?
- Click on “Finance” from the main dashboard.
- Click on “Accounting Settings”.
- Click on “Purchases Accounts Routing”.
- Choose the routing type for the Purchases as below:
- Automatic Account Routing: It makes the system create an account for the supplier automatically in its specialized place “Charts of Accounts”.
- Specify: It makes the system to select the sub-account manually inside the supplier’s file.
- Cancel Account Routing: The system won’t create return purchase journals.
- Click on “Save Settings”.
Note: In the case of the automatic routing, you can select the account that has the purchases routed to automatically and you can change it.
How to route the purchase returns?
- Click on “Finance” from the main dashboard.
- Click on “Accounting Settings”.
- Click on “Purchases Accounts Routing”.
- Choose the routing type for the purchase returns as below:
- Automatic Account Routing: It makes the system create an account for the supplier automatically in its specialized place “Charts of Accounts”.
- Specify: It makes the system to select the sub-account manually inside the supplier’s file.
- Cancel Account Routing: The system won’t create purchase returns journals.
- Click on “Save Settings”.
Note: In the case of the automatic routing, you can select the account that has the purchase returns routed to automatically and you can change it.
