Prerequisites
Routing an invoice ledger account allows you to change the account where the invoice amount is received as required instead of the default one.
The prerequisites for changing the route of the invoice account are
- Make sure the “Chart of Accounts & Journals Accounting” app in the “Accounting Management” module is enabled.

- Make sure to the “Sales Account Routing Type” in “Accounting Settings” is set to “Specify per each” so that you have the flexibility to specify a different account ledger for different invoices as required.

To specify a ledger account in an invoice
- Select “Sales” from the navigation menu.
- Click “Create Invoice“.
- Click the “Ledger Account” drop-down menu in the invoice details.
- Select the required ledger account by typing the account’s name or code.
- Proceed with invoice creation and save the invoice.
