Why is the material price in the purchase invoice different from its price in the cost sheet?

Because the Unit Price in the purchase invoice isn’t copied from the work item or the cost sheet, so it may appear in the invoice with a value different from the material price in the work item.

Solution: enter the actual purchase price in Unit Price before saving the invoice.
