Delete a Unit Type
Note: Deleting a unit type requires the Manage Rental Settings permission.
- From the main menu, click “Rental & Unit Management“.
- Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
- Click “Unit Types“.
- Open the unit type you want to delete.
- Click the “Delete” button.
- Click “Yes” when the confirmation message appears.
Note: A unit type cannot be deleted if a unit of that type is currently linked to a reservation order. You must remove the association or cancel the reservation order before attempting to delete the unit type.
After Deletion
- A confirmation message appears: “The unit type has been deleted successfully.”
- The user is automatically redirected to the Unit Types list.
- The deletion action is recorded in the Activity Log.
