Viewing Cost Sheets Within a Bid
The system allows you to view all cost sheets linked to a specific bid directly from within its view screen, and manage them from one place. This guide explains the required permissions, when the cost sheets tab appears, the content of the list, and the actions available on each cost sheet.
Permissions
The user must have the “View All Cost Sheets” or “View His Own (Created) Cost Sheets” permission to be able to view cost sheets. If the user has neither of these permissions, the tab is hidden entirely.
Tab Visibility
The “Cost Sheets” tab appears only if at least one cost sheet has been created for the bid, with a counter shown next to the tab name indicating the number of linked cost sheets.
How to Access
- From the main menu, click on “Construction”, then click on “Bids”.
- Click the “View” action for the bid that has cost sheets added to it.
- Navigate to the “Cost Sheets” tab.
List Details
Each record in the list displays the following columns:
- Sheet No.: the system-generated sequential number, and the number of the last linked quotation.
- Client: shows the client linked to the cost sheet.
- Linked To: shows the title of the project or document linked to the cost sheet.
- Duration: shows the cost sheet’s duration and its due date (end date). A dash “–” appears when no duration is set.
- Cost: shows the total cost of the cost sheet (the total of the “Cost” column in the Bill of Quantities table).
- Total Price: shows the price after adding profit margin and taxes, with the Subtotal (without taxes) shown below it.
- Created By: shows the photo, name, and creation date of the user who created the sheet. If the user has no photo, a placeholder with the first letter of their name appears instead.
- Status: shown as a colored badge indicating the cost sheet’s status, including: Draft, Issued, Approved, Rejected.

The following actions appear within the three-dot (⋯) menu next to each record:
- Edit.
