Viewing the Project Activity Log
Th system allows you to track a detailed activity log for each project, showing every change or update made to it — including additions, edits, deletions, status changes, and cloning. This guide explains how to access the activity log, and how to read its content.
How to Access
- From the main menu, click on “Construction”, then click on “Projects”.
- Click the “View” action for the desired project.
- Navigate to the “Activity Log” tab.
Grouping of Activities
Activity records are displayed grouped by date, with a header shown for each date group.
Types of Activity Records
The system logs the following actions on a project:
- Add
- Message: “{username} Added Project {project_title #code}“
- Info: Timestamp (hh:mm:ss), Username, Branch.
- Edit
- Message: “{username} Updated Project {project_title #code}“
- Details: “{field_name}: {old value} (if applicable) → {new value}”
- Info: Timestamp (hh:mm:ss), Username, Branch.
- Delete
- Message: “{username} Deleted Project {project_title #code}“
- Info: Timestamp (hh:mm:ss), Username, Branch.
- Change Status
- Message: “{username} Updated Project {project_title #code}“
- Details: “Status: {old status} → {new status}”
- Info: Timestamp (hh:mm:ss), Username, Branch.
- Clone
- Message: “{username} Cloned Project {project_title #code}“
- Info: Timestamp (hh:mm:ss), Username, Branch.
Content of Each Record
Each activity record contains:
- Message text: shows the name of the user who performed the action in bold, with a clickable link to the project itself.
- Change details (appears only for edits or status changes): shows the name of the field that changed, along with the old value (if applicable) and the new value, separated by an arrow.
- Record footer: displays the branch name, the user’s name (with their avatar), and the exact time of the action.
Note: Through this log, you can trace the complete history of the project since its creation, including any changes to its status or data.
