View Bid Activity Log
This screen displays a detailed activity log of all changes associated with a specific bid, including the bid’s own activities as well as the activities of the related Quotations and Cost Sheets, allowing you to track who made each change and when.
Before you start, make sure of the following:
- Activate the Construction app by navigating to Settings from the main menu and selecting Apps Manager.
Steps
- From the main menu, click Construction.
- Select Bids.
- Click the Actions icon next to the required bid.
- Select View.
- Click the Activity Log tab.
How the System Works
- Activities are displayed grouped by date and include activities related to the bid itself, as well as activities related to its Quotations and Cost Sheets (adding, editing, deleting, changing status, and cloning). Each activity includes the time, username, and branch.
- These activities are recorded using the actual usernames of the users who performed the actions. The following are examples for clarification:
- When a bid is added, an entry appears with the message: “{username} Added Bid {bid_title #code}”, along with the time, username, and branch.
- When a new Quotation is added, an entry appears with the message: “{username} Added Quotation {#code}”, along with the time, username, and branch.
- When a Quotation is deleted, an entry appears with the message: “{username} deleted Quotation {#code}”, accompanied by expanded details displaying all data of the deleted record at the time of deletion (such as the client, status, linked Cost Sheet, total cost, branch, project, and other fields).
