About Loyalty Points
Loyalty Points are points that a buyer earns based on rules that you set, those points are then redeemed as a discount for the next purchases that the buyer makes.
By adding a loyalty rule, you set the number of points to be earned for certain amounts of cash and the minimum purchase amount in the invoice that a customer makes for the rule to be applied.
To add a loyalty rule
- Select “Loyalty Points” from the navigation menu.
- Select “Loyalty Rules”.
- Click the button “Add Loyalty Rule”.
- Input the loyalty rule’s information
- Name: Input the loyalty rule’s name.
- Status: Select the status of the loyalty rule using the drop-down menu from “Active” or “Inactive”.
- Priority: Input a number that represents the priority of the rule achievement over other rules; where the higher number has the higher priority.

- Client Category: Select the client category you wish to apply this loyalty rule on.
- For more information on adding client categories, please refer to the tutorial “Categorizing Clients”.
- Collection Factor: Input the amount of cash that translates to earning 1 loyalty point.
- Minimum Total Spent: Input the minimum amount of purchase in one invoice for the rule to be applied.
- Expire After: Set the expiration date of the rule as needed by selecting “Day”, ‘Month” or “Year” and inputting their number accordingly.
- Note that the default is “Not Expired” by default.
- Click “Save“.
