Displaying the QR Code in the Jordanian e-Invoice

The QR Code appears automatically on the sales invoice once the integration with the Jordanian e-Invoice system is activated. If the code does not appear in the invoice template, follow these steps:

Activate the Jordanian e-Invoice Application

  • From the main menu, click “Settings.”

  • Select “App Manager.”

  • Enable the “Jordanian e-Invoice” app under the “Sales” app.

  • Return to the invoice view and ensure the QR Code appears on the template.

Note: The QR Code only appears when the integration with the Jordanian e-Invoice system is activated.

Adding the QR Code to a New Invoice Template

  • From the main menu, click “Templates.”

  • Select “Printable Templates.”

  • Click the “Invoice and Estimates Layouts” tab.

  • Click the “New Layout” button.

  • Choose one of the available template layouts (all templates include the QR Code, but it is recommended to select the “Tax Invoice” template).

  • Check the option “Make this layout the default template.”

  • Click “Save.”

  • Create a new invoice, and you will find the QR Code displayed directly below the invoice title.

Note: The QR Code is displayed after the invoice is sent from the system to the Fawtara portal, and its status is validated as Valid.

Adding the QR Code to an Existing Invoice Template

  • From the main menu, click “Templates.”

  • Select “Printable Templates.”

  • Click the “Invoice and Estimates Layouts” tab.

  • Select your default template to open the editing screen.

  • Insert the following variable in the desired location:
    : {%sa_qr_code_image%}

  • It is recommended to place it either under the “Business Details” section below the company name or in the “Note” section below the item table.

  • Click “Save.”

Note: The QR Code can be scanned using the Jordanian government’s Sanad application, available on Google Play.
