Estimates Settings

Estimate settings allow you to control how estimates are created, numbered, tracked, and assigned statuses, helping you manage the pre-sale process and convert quotes into invoices easily.

  • Enable Estimates Module:
    Turn this on to create and manage estimates in the system. You can share them with clients and later convert them into invoices without re-entering data.
  • Next Auto-Generated Estimate Number:
    The number the system will assign automatically to the next estimate. This helps organize quotes and prevent duplicates.
  • Auto-number Settings:
    Customize the numbering format, including the number of digits, prefixes, and overall format to match your company policy. For details, check the Serial Numbering Setup Guide.
  • Estimate Custom Statuses:
    Create custom statuses (e.g., Pending Client Confirmation, Under Review, Accepted, Rejected) to track estimate progress and filter them in the system.
  • Manage Custom Statuses:
    Add, edit, or delete statuses, and assign each estimate to the appropriate status based on workflow. For more details, see the Estimate Statuses Guide.
  • Apply Offers to Estimates:
    Automatically apply discounts and promotional offers so the final price is clearly shown to the client.
    • Note: When converting an estimate to an invoice, any offer applied to the estimate will remain on the invoice, even if the promotion has already expired.
