How to add custom fields in work orders?
- Click on “Work Orders” from the main dashboard.
- Click on “Work Order Settings”.
- Click on “Custom Fields”.
- Drag the required fields from the left column and drop it into the middle of the page.
- There will be a window for each field to customize and enter the required details such as:
- Properties:
- Field Label: Add the name of the field.
- Instructions: add the instructions.
- Placeholder: enter the placeholder.
- Validation:
- Answer all the questions by yes or no.
- Minimum length: enter the minimum length of the field.
- Maximum length: Enter the maximum length of the field.
- Type: Choose whether the field is Digits or Values
- Layout:
- Field Size: enter the desired field size of the field.
- Show in new line? : Answer with Yes or No.
- Hide Field? :
- Answer with Yes or No.
- Click on “Save”.
- Properties:
- Click on the X button to remove fields.
- Click on The Gear Button for each field to edit.
- Click on “Save” to save all the custom fields.
Note: The customized fields will be shown when adding a new Work order.
