Why Can’t I Delete a Specific Tax?

If you try to delete a tax and receive a message preventing the deletion, it means that this tax is linked to an official tax code in the UAE E-Invoicing settings.

To delete the tax, you must first remove its mapping from the Tax Mapping table, then return and delete the tax.

You can click the link included in the error message to open the UAE E-Invoicing settings page directly.

Default taxes are created only once when the account is created and are not recreated automatically if deleted.
